We are pleased to announce the inaugural issue of the NOEG Link. We know you receive many newsletters and you only have time to read a select few. That's why we pledge not to be 'just another newsletter'.
Angel Investing A Powerful Economic Resource Angel investors are wealthy individuals, many of whom are or have been highly successful 'been there and done that' entrepreneurs. They choose to devote a portion of their wealth to investing in private enterprises. According to the National Angel Organization, North American angels invested between $22 and 24 Billion dollars in some 48,000 deals in 2004. That amount of investment represents a hugely powerful economic resource that has served to fuel the growth of businesses into world class companies and to commercialize the new innovation and technology that forms the backbone of a knowledge based economy. Angels also invest their experience and expertise. This combination of investment and expertise are key ingredients to business success, economic prosperity and wealth creation. Our Organization NOEG is a non-profit organization with a volunteer board of business people from across Northern Ontario. We are from the north and for the north. We are singularly focused on unleashing the power of angel investing in Northern Ontario. Here's how:
It should be noted that NOEG is not an investment fund. We are a facilitator dedicated to providing business owners with the information and efficient process needed to successfully access a network of accredited investors.
